Home grown talent Alex John-Baptiste has been at the club since the age of 14. The Ollerton born youngster came up through the youth system at Field Mill and was identified from an early age that a lad to look out for. He went on to make his first team debut at the tender age of 17 during the Stags' last spell in League One. Since making his debut in that season Baptiste has been an ever present in the Stags' side and despite interest from several Championship teams this summer he pledged his future to at Field Mill until 2009.
