In and around Moss Rose

Our fans will be predominantly located in the open Silkmen End, which can house up to 1500 away supporters. An additional 403 seats are offered in the Alfred McAlpine stand, this stand is more modern and offers a roof and better facilities. From the away seating at Moss Rose it is possible to see the rolling countryside, which stretches away behind the Main Stand. The view of the action from both visiting stands is also very good.
With the ground being on the outskirts of Macclesfield, the selection of pubs is not great. The nearest pub is The Golden Lion, which is a ten-minute walk away from the away turnstile. For an alternative try The Railway View pub, this is also a ten-minute walk away but unlike The Golden Lion, offers a selection of Real Ale's and also serves hot food.

Directions

Leave the M6 at Junction 17 and turn onto the A534 towards Congleton. On reaching Congleton town centre follow the signs for A54 Buxton. Stay on the A54 for around five miles and then turn left on to the A523 towards Macclesfield. You will see the ground on your left after entering the outskirts of Macclesfield. It is mostly street parking around and behind the ground and on the A523 itself.

Following legal advice SSA will not accept bookings from Juniors under the age of 16 unless accompanied by an adult. This is for the protection of all parties and no exceptions will be made.

SSA members can book seats by ringing the SSA travel hotline on 07967 689 597, quoting your SSA membership number for season 07-08 when booking. If you book and can't make the trip please tell us as soon as possible which will give the chance for another Stags fan to travel.
