Next away game | Bradford City
Saturday 15 March 2008 | kick off: 3pm
Coral Windows Stadium, Valley Parade, Bradford, West Yorkshire, BD8 7DY
In and around The Coral Windows Stadium.
While the term game of two halves is normally applied to a game of football, the same could be said about Bradford's ground. The ground has been now been completely re-built since the mid 80's, but the initial impression is that one side is twice as big as the other. The Kop End (or now known as the Carlsberg Stand), is a relatively new two tiered stand, that is simply huge and looks quite superb. The Sunwin Stand next to this is now of identical height and looks very impressive.
Our fans will be situated in the TL Dallas stand where 1,800 visiting supporters can be housed. Many clubs receive an allocation for both the upper and lower tiers of the stand. The view is better in the upper tier but does have restricted view areas.
Inside the ground there is the usual selection of pies and pasties etc all sold at reasonable prices. For a drink before the match there is the Carlton pub which is only a few minutes walk from behind the Kop Stand. It does allow in away fans, but the pub is quite a basic one. For another option try a ten minute walk back along the main road from the ground where you will find a street full of bars and pubs which all cater for away supporters.
